Sustainability at Asia Pacific 2024

GESGB are committed to monitoring the environmental impact of all our events. Large conferences often produce lots of unnecessary waste and we are working as a team, alongside the venue and suppliers, to minimise this.

So what can you expect to see (or not see) at Asia Pacific 2024?

	Accessible and downloadable: Technical Programme, Event Guide and Abstract Book
	Clearly signposted recycling points
	Energy smart management systems to reduce consumption, including solar panels

	Printed Technical Programme
	Printed abstract book
	Plastic cups. In addition to cups on site being compostable we will encourage attendees to bring their own reusable cups
	Plastic covers on attendee badges
	Single use cutlery, food packaging, plates
