Gabriel Mynheer

Gabriel Mynheer – Seascape Energy

Gabriel has worked in the Oil & Gas industry for more than 15 years. He is currently Head of Corporate Finance at Seascape Energy, a Southeast Asian focused E&P company. Prior to this he held various roles covering M&A, economics, strategy, and corporate finance and has worked at Lambert Energy, CNOOC International, Nexen and Wood Mackenzie. He is also on the Board of the Scottish Energy Forum and is the former President of the Board.

Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams – Watson, Farley & Williams

Sarah is a Partner in the Corporate group at Watson Farley & Williams, where she specialises in complex corporate transactions across the energy and natural resources sectors. With extensive experience advising on M&A, joint ventures, private equity investments and strategic alliances, Sarah works closely with clients globally as they navigate the evolving dynamics of energy markets. Her work spans the full energy spectrum, from established energy assets to the transition towards low carbon solutions. Combining deep sector insight with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach, Sarah brings a clear perspective on the opportunities and challenges shaping energy investment and development across Asia Pacific.

Dee Patterson

Dee Patterson – Moyes & Co

Dee Patterson is President of Moyes & Co with over forty-five years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined Moyes & Co. as a Managing Director in 2000. Moyes is a Global Energy Advisory/Consultancy with offices in Dallas, Houston, London and Singapore. He has served as President of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers and is currently Chairman of the Fair Market Valuation Committee of the organization that is working on a new FMV Monograph. His experience covers reservoir engineering, operations, construction, commercial, finance and economics and he has been involved in over 400 projects in over 20 countries. The projects range from acquisitions, E&P startups, exploration field development projects, producing field redevelopment, LNG processing and re-gasification, Gas to Liquids, oil and gas infrastructure projects, risk assessment and economic analysis.

Obo Idornigie

Obo Idornigie – Welligence

Obo joined Welligence in October 2020 and is currently a principal member of Welligence’s global macro team. He leads in the delivery of thought leadership reports covering topics including corporate strategies of E&Ps, global M&A, exploration trends and FPSO/FLNG market trends. He also leads in the delivery of bespoke projects covering country entry strategies, due diligence reports and offshore supply chain analysis. He had also worked for three years with Welligence’s Sub Saharan Africa team. Prior to this role, he spent 12 years with Wood Mackenzie in various roles. Obo holds a master’s degree in Oil and Gas Economics from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Mining from the University of Jos, Nigeria.

Simon Flowers

Simon Flowers -Wood Mackenzie

Simon was appointed Chairman and Chief Analyst in April 2016. After rejoining Wood Mackenzie in 2010 he led the commodities, global trends and corporate analysis research and has been writing ‘The Edge’, Wood Mackenzie’s weekly thought-leadership insight on energy for almost a decade. He has over 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, utilities and mining sectors, working with the boards of many energy companies on strategic issues. Simon was MD and Head of Pan European Utilities Research with BoA from 1998. The team was Top 3 ranked in the sector for over a decade and Simon was involved in most of the major European privatisations in the sector during this period, including Enel, EdF and GdF. Simon was a No.1 ranked oil analyst with NatWest Markets 1992-98. Prior to joining NatWest, he had worked for Ord Minnett Securities in Sydney as an energy and mining analyst in the Australian market. He graduated in geology from the University of Edinburgh and worked for two years as a geologist in the oil industry working in the Netherlands and offshore Egypt. Simon originally joined Wood Mackenzie in 1983 as an analyst in the North Sea and NW Europe Services.

Onursal Soyer

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Lambert Energy Advisory (LEA). Onursal has 36 years of experience in the energy industry, gained in senior positions at Shell, Lasmo and ENI. Onursal joined LEA in 2002 and has been advising clients on strategy development and implementation, acquisitions and divestments. Dr. Andrew Latham

Dr. Andrew Latham – Wood Mackenzie

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience assisting companies in the development of their energy strategies. He currently leads Wood Mackenzie’s subsurface research content across all aspects of the upstream oil and gas and emerging geo-energy industries. Andrew previously led the Exploration Strategy offering within the Upstream Consulting business. He worked with clients to help optimise their investments in petroleum exploration and advised on strategy, process, opportunity characterisation and evaluation. As part of this offering, Andrew directed Wood Mackenzie’s series of multi-client projects on deepwater, Arctic and exploration themes. Andrew has been with Wood Mackenzie’s energy team since 1995. Until the end of 2001, he managed the team responsible for Sub-Saharan Africa research products and consultancy, undertaking a range of market analysis and regional strategy projects. He started his career in 1990 as an international new ventures geologist with Ranger Oil. Later, as Ranger focused on West Africa, he became project geologist for Angola and Namibia. Andrew graduated from Imperial College, London, with a BSc Honours degree in Geology, and holds a PhD in Geology from University College, Cardiff.

Robert Chambers

Robert Chambers – Kawi Energy

Robert has 20 years of experience in upstream oil & gas, specialising in data, analytics, and economic insight. With a facilities engineering background, he has worked across technical, commercial, and advisory roles, including over a decade in Singapore. In his current role at Kawi Energy, Robert provides research and advisory services. The research includes country and company analysis focused on Southeast Asia and Australasia, as well as offering a proprietary M&A database. He advises on upstream facilities and economics, supporting clients with development planning, cost estimation, economic modelling, and the commercial evaluation of assets and opportunities. His experience spans M&A, asset valuations, company strategy, and market analysis.

Adam Craig

Adam Craig – RISC Advisory

Adam is a highly experienced Geoscientist and Manager, with over 30 years’ global experience with small and mid-size independents, as well as NOC related entities. Adam is skilled in building and leading high functioning subsurface and multidisciplinary teams. He has significant experience in exploration, appraisal, development and production activities having worked with KUFPEC, Cooper Energy, Woodside, Novus Petroleum, WMC Resources and Lasmo. After joining RISC in 2020 Adam has advised clients on acquisition due diligence, technical and commercial assurance, reserves and resources assessments globally and in the Australasia region. He is a member of PESA (2021-24 WA branch President), AAPG (CPG) and a Fellow of the Geological Society.

Rajeev Madhavan – Lambert Energy

Rajeev is currently Senior Managing Director at Lambert Energy Advisory Ltd (LEA). He Joined LEA in 2007 and is responsible for managing clients in Middle East and Asia Pacific. At LEA, he has been involved in advising many clients on transaction mandates in Eastern Hemisphere. Some of the recent transaction he has advised includes PETRRONAS/ENI Malaysia/Indonesia JV (2025), PETRONAS/ Midocean – partnership on LNG Canada (2025), sale of Jadestone Energy’s Thailand interest to PTTEP (2025), XRG & Petronas partnership on Block 1 Turkmenistan, Sale of Sapura Energy interest in SapuraOMV to Total Energies (2024). Rajeev started his career as Wireline Field Engineer with Schlumberger working in India, Egypt, Oman, Yemen and Norway. He has also worked with Weatherford and S&P Global (formerly IHS CERA) serving clients in West Africa, Asia and Europe.

 

Joshua King

Joshua King – RAB Capital

Joshua is Head of Energy Investments at RAB Capital Limited where the portfolio includes positions in private, small and mid-cap companies across multiple sectors.  Within the energy sector, investments have been made globally and, in relation to oil and gas, in opportunities ranging from exploration through to production.  Joshua has 20 years’ experience in the investment space and is a CFA Charterholder.

Dan Slater

Dan Slater – Zeus Capital

Dan is an equity analyst at Zeus Capital in London and has almost 20 years of City experience specialising in the Energy sector. He began his career working in M&A at Rothschild, before moving to Arden in 2010 as an Oil & Gas analyst. Dan then moved to Zeus in 2023 and is responsible for Zeus’ Energy sector research product, alongside marketing stocks to investors and participating in company fundraisings. Dan is a CFA Charter Holder.

James McCormack

James McCormack – Cavendish

James is a Research Director at Cavendish, a full service investment bank, who provide a range of services to both public and private companies, from equity raising capital markets to M&A, debt advisory and private growth capital. James started his career at Deloitte, where he spent 7 years as a Manager within the Petroleum Services Group, initially focusing on the upstream industry within the Middle East, before moving into similar roles in Latin America and North Africa. In 2015, James joined Wood Mackenzie, working in a number of managerial roles, including a Research Manager within Petroleum Edge, a joint venture between Wood Mackenzie and CGG Robertson, managing the delivery of an exploration acreage valuation tool. James joined Cavendish, then Cenkos Securities, in March 2018 as a Research Director within the Natural Resources Team with a focus on Oil & Gas. James graduated with a MSci in Geology from Southampton University.

 

Joe Levin

Joe Levin – Watson Farley & Williams

Joe is a Partner at Watson, Farley & Williams in the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure group, based in London. Joe advises lenders and sponsors on a number of projects, borrowing based and other structured financings and has a particularly impressive track record in upstream oil and gas financings, advising both multilateral and commercial lenders. Joe has worked on a number of project financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors both in the UK, Africa and the Middle East. His main clients include commercial and multilateral banks, traders, exploration & production companies and project sponsors.

Jon Fitzpatrick – Gneiss Energy

Jon is the founder and executive chairman of Gneiss Energy, bringing over 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor in the energy sector. He leverages his extensive network of board-level relationships and well-honed corporate acumen to execute major financial transactions, oversee equity issuances, and provide strategic financial advice to a diverse range of clients.
Jon holds an LLM in Natural Resources Law, an LLB (Hons), and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Dundee. He has also served as an Honorary Professor at the University and is a mentor for their Global Leadership Plus Programme. Jon’s career began as an academic research executive to the CEO of the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP). He then practiced in corporate law, holding positions at Burness Paull LLP and CMS. Afterwards, Jon moved into investment banking, working for Brewin Dolphin, before taking on the role of Head of Natural Resources and Energy at Cavendish Group. He was later appointed Head of Energy and Natural Resources for the EMEA region at Macquarie Capital before founding Gneiss Energy.nJon is dedicated to leading a team of experienced energy sector advisors. Known for his clear thinking and effective problem-solving skills, he excels with strong communication skills and developing robust business initiatives. His professional expertise encompasses financial advisory services, including private equity, venture capital investment, debt advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and various other aspects of corporate finance.

Dom Tansley

Dom Tansley – Carlingford

Dominic is an Executive Director at Carlingford with 20 years of experience. His background includes 15 years in investment banking at BNP Paribas, Nomura and Carlingford. Prior to banking Dominic spent 5 years as a Senior Geoscientist at ERC Equipoise.He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and an MSc in Exploration Geophysics from Leeds.

Ananya Modi

Ananya Modi – Rothschild & Co

Ananya Modi is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy Financing Solutions at Rothschild & Co, based in London. Ananya advises corporates on their capital structure, financing options and market execution. Ananya has advised on more than US$100 billion of advisory assignments. Prior to joining Rothschild & Co in 2015, Ananya worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Ananya graduated from The London School of Economics & Political Science.

Arild Valland

Arild Valland- Fearnley Securities

Since 2008 Arild has been supporting E&Ps in growth mode and trade flows mainly through structuring and placing bonds. The initial 10 years out of Singapore focused on APAC and the Middle East, then out of Oslo with a global mandate. Prior to this, he was a commodity trader at Norsk Hydro for a decade and then two years as Head of Upstream BD Asia before going into banking.

Jonathan Craig

Jonathan Craig – NVentures

Jonathan Craig has over 30 years upstream oil and gas experience, specialising in industry activity and production forecasting. Prior to reporting on the Asia Pacific region for NVentures, Jonathan started up the Middle East and South Asia report as an Associate Editor and started the Global Hydrogen service for the company. Before joining NVentures, Jonathan worked for IHS, now S&P Global, for over 18 years. He was a primary contributor to IHS’s asset valuation tool, Vantage, with a focus on oil and gas production in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before working on Vantage, for almost 10 years Jonathan’s work was a major component of CERA’s worldwide liquids capacity and E&P Trends Forum research. Jonathan also worked in various roles for IHS, including four years as Regional Manager covering the Northern Middle East. Jonathan has a degree in Geology and began his career as a Data Engineer and Logging Geologist with Baker Hughes, supporting exploration drilling operations in the UK North Sea.

Dr Andy Butler

Dr. Andy Butler – Sunda Energy

Andy Butler has 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, more than half of which has been spent in SE Asia. He founded SundaGas in 2016 and sold this company into what is now Sunda Energy in 2021. He has worked previously as VP Business Development at Mitra Energy Ltd, now Jadestone Energy Plc, New Ventures manager at BG Group, now Shell, and as a geologist at Hess Corporation, now Chevron. Andy is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and an active member of SEAPEX, GESGB, SPE, AIEN and the Singapore Institute of Directors. He has a B.A. in Geology from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Cambridge. He is also an Independent Director of RH Petrogas Ltd, a Singapore-listed oil and gas production company operating in east Indonesia.

Nick Ingrassia

Nick Ingrassia – Seascape Energy

Nick has over 25 years’ experience across a wide range of corporate roles in-and-around the oil & gas industry. Nick started his career in banking with roles at Morgan Stanley, energy investment banking, and RBS, structured energy lending & debt advisory, before joining the industry working in business development roles with Valiant Petroleum plc, Salamander Energy plc and Faroe Petroleum plc. Valiant Petroleum plc was sold to Ithaca Energy Inc. in 2013, Salamander Energy plc was sold to Ophir Energy plc in 2015 and Faroe Petroleum plc was sold to DNO ASA in 2019. Most recently, he acted as UK Country Manager for DNO ASA. Nick has an MA Hons degree from St Andrews University in Ancient History.

Katherine Roe

Katherine Roe – Pharos Energy

Katherine has over 25 years of senior corporate, industry and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Pharos Energy as CEO in 2024, Katherine served as the CEO of Wentworth Resources plc, having been appointed to that role in 2019 after initially serving as Wentworth’s Chief Financial Officer. During her time at Wentworth, Katherine successfully worked with the company’s partners and government stakeholders to optimise the asset, materially increase production and secure future re-investment. As a key strategic partner for host government, Wentworth balanced positive social, economic and environmental impact alongside tangible shareholder returns by way of both dividend and capital. These tangible returns were ultimately realised when, as CEO, Katherine negotiated and oversaw the successful sale of Wentworth by way of recommended cash offer to Maurel et Prom, which completed in December 2023. Prior to joining Wentworth, Katherine spent 11 years at Panmure Gordon & Co, where she headed up the Natural Resources team, with a principal focus on the oil and gas sector. Katherine has experience across a number of international jurisdictions with exposure to emerging and development markets.

Elisabeth Gillbard

Elisabeth Gillbard – TGS

Elisabeth is an experienced Principal Consultant Geologist currently supporting TGS on their Asia-Pacific projects. She brings over 20 years of diverse expertise spanning the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of multidisciplinary geoscience data. Her technical skill set includes seismic interpretation, velocity model building, biostratigraphy, and well data operations from acquisition and processing to petrophysical interpretation.
Specialising in seismic interpretation for hydrocarbon exploration and prospect generation, Elisabeth’s expertise ranges from frontier, basin-scale assessments to prospect-level evaluations across global basins. Throughout her career, she has delivered on multiple high-profile exploration projects with extensive regional experience in Asia-Pacific (including Bangladesh, East/West Coast India, Kutei, and Timor-Leste), the North Sea, North and West Africa Libya, Mauritania, Senegal and Namibia), and the East Russian Arctic Shelf. Most recently, Elisabeth has focused on data-rich, basin-scale projects across the Asia-Pacific region and providing critical geoscience support for government licensing rounds. Prior to entering the energy sector, she earned her PhD from the University of Birmingham and her BSc from Durham University.
